Needed for this Tutorial:

PSP

Graphic of your choice  (make it into a square 300 x 300 pixels)

Filter:  MuRa's Meister/Copies  http://www.chezkiki.com/les_filtres.htm

Open your graphic in PSP

Open a "new image" 600 x 600 pixels

With your selection tool , set to "circle," make a circle selection in your graphic image.

Edit/Copy

Edit/Paste as a new layer into your new 600 x 600 transparent image

Using your magic wand , select the transparent area outside of your circle image.

Selections/ Invert

(where my image shows white, it will be clear with your psp checkerboard)

While still selected, Selections/Modify/Expand 15

Layers, new raster layer

Layers, move to the bottom

In your materials box, select a gradient that is complimentary to your graphic, or a solid color.

Activate the empty new layer and flood fill with your color or gradient.  (again, your background will be psp checkerboard)

Selections/Select none

Layers/Merge/merge visible

Image/resize 50% you will have a large open area around your circle.

Image/canvas size 450 x 450 - center

Effects/MuRa's Meister/copies, settings as shown below.   You need only change the top three boxes as shown.  Leave the number, shift, etc. area as it is with the default settings.

Image resize again, this time 350 x 350 pixels

Layers/add new raster layer

Layers/arrange/send to bottom

Flood fill the new layer with a color and/or texture to compliment your circle image.

Activate your design circles layer

Effects/3D effects/drop shadow

Layers merge/merge all flatten

Layers promote  background layer

Image/canvas size - change to a width of 1024 or 1280, which ever you prefer to use.

Layers/new raster layer

Layers/arrange/send to bottom

Flood fill this layer with color and/or texture.

Layers/merge/merge all flatten

Add your watermark if you use one and assemble in Letter Creator
