Needed:

PSP

Tubed Image

Filters:  Simple/Diamonds  http://www.chezkiki.com/les_filtres.htm

VM Distortion/Flipper http://www.lunasdatter.dk/test_linkportal_filtre.htm

FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss  http://www.chezkiki.com/les_filtres.htm


 

Open your tube in PSP  and resize if needed so that the width of your tube area is no wider than 375 pixels.

In your materials box, select a gradient that is complimentary to your tubed image.


In your Materials Box, select your chosen gradient.

Make a new image 200 X 200

Flood fill with your gradient


Effects/Plugin effects/Simple/Diamonds


Effects/Plugin effects/VM Distortion/Flipper


In your Materials Box/Patterns, select this new image


On your main image, Layers/Add new raster layer.

Layers/arrange/send to bottom.

While this layer is still selected, flood fill with your pattern.


Effects/Plugin effects/FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss


Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten

Layers/Promote background layer


Image/Canvas Size

Resize your image to be 1280 x the height of your tubed image.


With your eyedropper tool pick a color from your tube to be used as your background color where your text will be in your completed letter.

With your magic wand select the empty checkerboard area of your image.

Flood fill with your chosen color.


Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten.

Add your watermark if desired.

Save as a JPG image to be used for assembly in Letter Creator.
