DA-Grainy Brush Background

Needed for this tutorial:
PSP (any version)
Tube of your choice
Xero/Art Grain
http://www.fleursauvage.be/utilitaire/filtres/filtres.htm
Artistic/Dry Brush
http://www.fleursauvage.be/utilitaire/filtres/filtres.htm
Open your tube in PSP
Windows/Duplicate and then close your original
Resize if necessary so that your width is no wider than 350 pixels.
Image/Canvas size
*your image will be clear with checks, no white.
Layers/Add new raster layer
Layers/send to bottom
While this new layer is activated, flood fill with color.
*I always choose my
background colors from my main image with my Eyedropper tool
.
Effects/Plugins/Xero/Art Grain
Effects/Plugins/Artistic/Dry Brush
Activate your tube image.
Copy/Paste as a new selection on to your background.
Move it to the left side of your background.
Add a drop shadow if desired.
Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten
Add your watermark if you use one and save for assembly in Letter Creator.
