Needed for this Tutorial: PSP VM Instant Art - http://www.fleursauvage.be/utilitaire/filtres/filtres.htm Fade tube - There is one in my "Masks" section, called "da-23" *you need one with a "left" side fade. You can use a right side fade if you invert it. Open your tube in PSP Windows/Duplicate then close the original Image/Canvas size (Add 25 pixels to the width and the height) Click on the center button. This distributes the new pixels all around the tube.
With your Eyedropper tool
Layers/New raster layer Flood fill
While this filled layer is still activated, Effects/Plugins/VM Instant Art Use the settings marked below, but move the "red/green/blue" until you find a color that is complimentary to your tube image.
Highlight the "tube" layer Effects/3D effects/Drop shadow
Highlight your Background layer again Layers/Load/Save mask/Load mask from disk (Select your fade mask on your computer) A box will open to promote to layer - Click "OK' You will see your mask selected. In Orientation, select "Fit to layer" In Create mask from, select "Source Luminance" In Options, select "Hide all mask" Click "Load"
This will fade the left side of your image as shown below.
Layers/Delete When the box opens, merge layer below, click "yes" Image/Canvas Size. Change the Width to 1024 and the Height = the height of your tubed image. Select the center left button.
Layers/Add new raster layer Flood fill
Layers/Send to Bottom Adjust/Add Remove noise/Add noise
Activate your tube layer Effects/3D effects/Drop shadow
Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten Add your watermark and assemble in Letter Creator
