Open your tube image in PSP.

With your eyedropper tool  pick both a light color,

then a darker color from your tube.

Make a new transparent image 200 X 200.

Flood fill  this new image with your lighter color

Layers/New Raster layer.

With your selections tool , set the selection type to circle.

Made a new circle selection in the center of your image.

I made my circle from pixels 95 and spread to 105 pixels.

*you can click on View/Grid to make this easier to find.

While the circle is still selected, flood fill the circle   with your darker color.

Selections/Select none.

With your mover tool , center your dot at 100/100 in the center of your square image.

 Layer/New Raster layer.

With your selections tool , re-set back to Rectangle/mode set to replace mode.

Make a new selection on the new layer.

I used a vertical selection at 20 to 30 pixils or a size you like.

This will be your stripe on the left side of the image.

*Again, you can use your grid is you prefer.

While the stripe is selected, flood fill  with your darker color.

 Selections/select none.

Layers/Duplicate

Image/Mirror

Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten

Image/Resize 50% (your image should not be 100 X 100 pixels.

Effects/Plugins/Simple/Diamonds

 Effects/Plugins/Simple/4-Way Average

Layers/Promote to Background layer

In your Layers Pallet, reduce the opacity to 50%

 Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten.

Image/Resize/ resize to 50%

In your Pattern Box, select your new diamond image.

Make a NEW image, 1280 X 450

IMPORTANT*** using a height of 450 pixels will assure the diamonds of lining up in Letter Creator.

I have tried other heights, and they came out mismatched.

Flood Fill with your new pattern.

 Activate your tube.

Edit copy and then Edit/Paste as a new selection on to your background.

 Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow

Selections/Select none

Now we will add the text—This step is optional.

Layers/New Raster Layer

Using the Text Tool type in your text.

I did the typing with one letter on a line to get it to be readable top to bottom.

While your text is still selected, move the text to where you want it on your background image.

While still selected, Effects/3D Effects/Cut Out

While still selected, Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
