Needed for this Tutorial:

Tube of your choice

Filters:

Simple/Diamonds and 4-Way Average Here

FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss

MrRa's Seamless/Shift at Random

You can find these filters Here


Open your tube, resize if necessary so that it is not wider than 300 pixels.

Window/Duplicate ~~ Close the original and shrink your remaining image to the clipboard.


Choose a Gradient from your Materials box, or make your own by using your eye dropper tool  and picking two colors from your tube.


Make a new Transparent Image 1024 X the Height of your tube.


Flood Fill  with your new Gradient.


Effects/Plugins/MrRa's Seamless/Shift at Random


Effects/Plugins/Simple/Diamonds


Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/ Blend Emboss - use the default settings


Effects/Plugins/Simple/4-Way Average


Activate your tube, Edit/Copy

Edit/Paste as a new Selection and move to the left side of your background image.


Effects/3-D Effects/Drop Shadow

Selections/Select none


Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten

Selections/Select all


Selections/Modify/Contract 2

Image/Crop to selection

Selections/Select none


Add your watermark and assemble in Letter Creator.
