NEEDED for this Tutorial:
 
PSP
SIMPLE FILTERS/Quarter Corner
*FILTERS UNLIMITED--Optional   http://www.fantasticmachines.com/
TUBE of your choice

 

 
In PSP, make a New Image/color white, 1018 x 630.
Layers/Promote background layer

Use your eyedropper tool  and select a light and a medium color from your tube

*I have found that the lighter colors make the more elegant letters.

Effects/Plugins/Simple/Quarter Corner using the default settings.

 

Using the Magic Wand  select the white area of your new image.

 
Flood fill  with your lighter color.
 
Selections/Invert.
 
Flood fill  with your darker color.
 
 
While still selected, Effects/3D Effects/Dropshadow.
 
 
Selections/Select none
 
Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten
 
Layers/Duplicate
Layers/Promote backgound layer
 
In your Materials Box, reduce the Opacity to 20.
 
Image/Mirror
 
Using your mover tool,  move the faded image over to the left side, overlapping until they look like the image below.
 
 
Effects/3D Effects/Drop shadow again, but using a minus number.
 
 
Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten
 
Activate your tube image.
Edit copy
Edit paste as a new layer
With your mover tool,  move the tube image over to the left and place it on top of your side image.
 
 
Effects/3D Effects/Drop shadow with the settings you used first.
 
Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten
Layers/Promote background layer
 
Here you can apply texture if you choose to.  This step is optional, but I prefer doing this.
 
For this image I used Filters Unlimited/Paper Textures/Canvas, Fine set at  65/85
 
Add your watermark
Save as a jpg and assemble in Letter Creator.
