Good Background Tutorial for beginners

Looks great as a side border or top border background image.

Needed for this Tutorial:

PSP (any version)

Simple/Quick Tile

Open your graphic or tube in PSP. (if using a tube, you will need to add a solid color behind your tubed image)

Windows/Duplicate then minimize one image.

On the open image, resize to 200 X 200

(This was a tube so I added a white background and merged all layers flat.)

With your eyedropper tool , select your first border color.

Click on "Add to Swatches"

Image/Add Borders with Symmetric Checked and all settings to 6 pixels as shown below.

In the Color box, select your color.

With your eyedropper tool again, select another color from your graphic.

Image/Add Borders--change settings to 12 pixels and select your color from the color box.

Once again, select another color from your graphic and add to swatches.

Image/Add Borders--change settings to 6 pixels and select your color from the color box.

Once again, select another color from your graphic and add to swatches.
