For this Tutorial you will need the following:

A Tube of your choice

In PSP, open your chosen tube.

With your Eyedropper  select a light color for your background.

Also select a darker color from your tube for your marble effect.

Shrink this image.

Make a New Image 1024 X the Height of your tube plus about 40 pixels

(You want a little head room above your tube when you apply it to your background image).

Flood Fill  your new image with your light background color.

Layers/Add New Raster Layer

With your Selections Tool , make a "rectangle" selection 100 Pixels wide.

Do this from the 100 pixel mark to the 200 pixel mark.

Floodfill  with a Gradient that compliments your tube colors.

Set the Angle at 120 and Repeats at 0.

I prefer to use the gradient from my two chosen colors.

It's in the gradient selection box listed as "Foreground/Background"

While still selected,  Effects/Texture Effects/Blinds with the Width-3 and the Opacity-40
