Needed for this Tutorial:
PSP7 or 8 (this was written using PSP8) FM Tile tools Simple Filters ICNet Filters Unlimited 2.0 Mask of your choice Tube of your choice
**You can get these filters
HERE
In PSP, Open your chosen tube. With the eyedropper tool
color from your tube for your main
background, and a dark color from your tube
as a background for your tube. Then shrink
your tube.
Make a New Image, 1024 X the height of your tube. Flood Fill Effects/Plugins/ICNet-Filters Unlimited
2.0/Paper Texture/Japanese Paper, with the default settings.
Effects/Plugins/Simple/Quick Tile. Then shrink this image. Re-activate your tube.
Image/Canvas Size/ Add about 25 pixels to the width measurement.
(This allows room for the mask without covering your main tube image.
Click on the Mover Tool
Layers/Add new Raster Layer . Effects/ICNet-Filters Unlimited
2.0/Paper Texture/Japanese Paper with the default settings as you did in
step 5.
Effects/Plugins/Simple/Quick Tile, as you did in step 6. Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Highlight the layer that the Tube picture is on, and add a drop shadow if desired. Layers/Merge/all Flatten.
Tile: Vertical CHECKED. (This will help keep lines from showing then
tiled in Letter Creator.
I use the minimum seaming I can so it does not distort your tube picture) Layers/Load/Save Mask/Load Mask from Disk .
Choose the mask of your choice.
Apply-Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image
Layers/Merge all VISIBLE. Right click on your image/copy. Activate your larger background image, and Paste as a New Selection. With your Mover tool
While still selected-- Select/Select None.
(This step helps get a seamless look when finished). Image/Crop to Selection. Add your Watermark if desired. Assemble in Letter Creator
