Filters Needed:
FM Tile Tools
Maura Seamless/Maura Pro
Simple Filters
Choose a tube or graphic you like. Open it in PSP 8
Duplicate your image and close the original.
On the other image, add a new raster layer and flood
fill
with a light color from your image.
Use your Eyedropper tool
to do this.
Layers/Arrange/send to bottom
Layers/Merge All flatten
*If you use a graphic in stead of a tube, just resize the image as shown
below.
Image/Resize:
Lock aspect ratio: Unchecked
Resize all layers: Checked
Resize your image to: Width 1024 X Height: (the height of your image).
Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur
Radius 20.00
Layer/Promote Background to Layer
Adjust/Add - Remove Noise/Add Noise
Random/Noise 3%
(Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/Seamless Tile
Settings Border width (default) 0.250
Stretch Control: (default) 0.250
Vertical Unchecked)
*OR you can also use
Effects/Plugins/Simple/Quick Tile (which I prefer)
Effects/Plugins/Maura's Seamless/Shift at
Random with these settings:
Number 100
Shift 100
Random Factor 0
Direction0
Effects/Plugins/FM Tile/Blend Emboss - Use default settings.
Adjust/Sharpness/Sharpen
Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/Seamless Tile
*OR Effects/Plugins/Maura Pro/Seamless (default settings)
Layers/Merge All Flatten
Make your tube active:
Image/copy
With the Mover tool,
position your tube image to
the far left side of your background.
Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
(use settings of your choosing)
Layers/Merge all flatten
do the following before adding it to your background:
Selections/Select All/
