Needed for this Tutorial

 

PSP 7 or 8

Filters (Optional):  Xero/Fritillary (in set 3) at:

Tube:  Of your choice to use on top of your slat tube.

Tube:  Slat tube (Copy and paste as a new image in PSP.

SLAT TUBE-Click on image below to download:

Open the Slat Tube enclosed in the zip file with this tutorial. 

Delete Raster Layer 1, but remember the name of the tube maker so you can

give credit in your footer when you assemble your letter in Letter Creator.

Open your desired tube. 

 With your eyedropper tool  select a color for your background.

Also select a gradient that goes well with or contrasts with your tube image.

Layers/Promote Background Layer.

With your magic wand,  select the black slats on your image.

 Flood Fill,  with your gradient.

Effects/3D Effects/ Drop Shadow as shown below.

Selections/Invert.

Flood Fill  with your background color.

Effects/Plugins/Xero/Fritillary.

Selections/Select None.

Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten

 Layers/Promote Background Layer. 

Activate your tube image.

Edit/copy

Edit/paste as a new selection.

Move in to desired position in the corner.

 Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow 

Selections/Select none.

Layers/Merge/merge all flatten.

Apply your watermark and save as a jpg for assembly in Letter Creator.
