Needed:  PSP8
 
Tube of your choice
 
Filters: 
Simple/Quick Tile/Diamonds/4-Way Average
 
FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss/Seamless
 
Fun House/ZigZaggerate
 
You can find the filters 
Here

Open your  tube in PSP8

Pick a color for background  with your eyedropper tool

Layers/New Raster Layer

Flood Fill  with this new color


Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom


Layers/Merge/Merge all flatten

     Your tube should now resemble a graphic as shown next.

Window Duplicate. 

Shrink one image. 

( you can also use a blank image and flood fill it with a gradient here)


On the active image, do the following:

 

Adjust/Blur/Gaussian Blur with the radius set at 20
 

 


Effects/Plugins/Simple/Quick Tile

 


Effects/Plugins/Simple/Diamonds


Effects/Plugins/Simple/4-Way Average


Effects/Plugins/Fun House/ZigZaggerate set at 120/60

 
 

Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss as follows:

 


Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/Seamless, Vertical CHECKED

 

 


Effects/Plugins/FM Tile Tools/Seamless, Vertical UN-CHECKED

 


Pick this pattern in your Materials Box.

 


Make a new image 1024 X the height of your tube/graphic


 Flood Fill  with this new pattern


Activate your remaining image that you had put on your clipboard. 

If desired, add a mask or decorate it the way you want to appear on your letter. 

In this example I used a mask, then did another seamless tile top and bottom.

Merge all layers flat.


Edit/Copy this image

 Paste this image on to your 1024 X H background. 

Move to the left side.

Apply drop shadow if desired.

Selections/Select none

Add your watermark
Save for assembly in Letter Creator
